If you can gain someone's trust, you have the ability to control them. Trust is earned by sincerity and truthfulness in a person. It can be discovered when they don't even notice, or when they have the potential to lie and get away with it but choose to be honest. This frequently occurs in simple or uncomplicated settings. So sincerity gives the first impression to earn trust followed by other factors depending on the context.
